How It Started

Gratitude & Growth began as a podcast—a space for real, honest conversations on mindset, healing, and personal development. But what started as a passion project quickly evolved into something much bigger: a platform for meaningful change and a home for those craving deeper alignment.

Born from my own journey through yoga, somatic healing, neuroscience, and spiritual practices, G&G is the space I once needed. A space that offers grounded, accessible tools to shift your mindset, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with your purpose—so you can grow into the person you truly want to be.

About Sara Mitich

You may know me from Star Trek: Discovery, The Expanse, Murdoch Mysteries, and many other credits. But long before I stepped in front of the camera, I was a ballet dancer—devoted, disciplined, and deeply in love with the art form. That path came to an unexpected end when a serious injury changed the course of my life.

After transitioning into acting, I became more and more curious about human behavior, emotion, and why we do what we do. I found myself fascinated by the stories we carry, the patterns we repeat, and the ways we try to protect ourselves from pain.

When I lost my father to cancer at 23, I didn’t fully process it at the time. I kept moving—kept performing, kept achieving. But underneath, the grief quietly shaped me. It wasn’t until years later, after living through burnout, emotional disconnection, and the quiet ache of high-functioning perfectionism, that I realized I had been avoiding the very parts of myself that most needed to be seen.

That realization became the foundation of my life’s work.

Over the past decade, I’ve immersed myself in mindset work, somatic healing, nervous system regulation, spiritual development, and self-inquiry—blending Eastern wisdom with Western psychology to find what actually creates change. I didn’t just study the tools. I lived them. And through that, I found my way back to a steadier, softer, more honest version of myself. That’s what I help others do now.

I created Gratitude & Growth as a space to support people in becoming who they want to be—from the inside out.

Because becoming who you want to be isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about unbecoming everything you’re not. It’s about coming home to yourself—over and over again.

Today, I’m a transformational life coach, podcast host, yoga instructor, and the creator of the G&G Studio—a space where self-growth becomes real, sustainable, and embodied. I’m also the author of 21 Days of Gratitude: Simple Exercises for a More Positive Life, and my work has been featured in Tiny Buddha, Elephant Journal, The New York Times, and more.

Why This Work Matters

Becoming who you want to be isn’t about perfection—it’s about peeling back the layers of fear, doubt, and conditioning that have kept you small. It’s about coming home to yourself.

When you commit to growth, things shift:

You respond to life with confidence and clarity.

You stop overthinking and start trusting yourself.

You attract more aligned relationships, creativity, and opportunities.

You move out of survival mode and into balance, presence, and purpose.

What We Offer

Gratitude & Growth is your space for real transformation—with a clear path to follow. Through our podcast, self-growth blog, weekly mindset newsletter, and the G&G Studio, we offer practical tools to help you integrate personal growth into everyday life. From mindset coaching and nervous system support to yoga, meditation, and somatic practices, everything we offer is grounded, accessible, and designed for real life.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that true growth happens when you align your mind, body, and soul—shifting limiting beliefs, building emotional strength through the body, and deepening your connection to your inner wisdom. Because growth is holistic. And when you align from within, everything begins to shift.

What People Are Saying

Real Words. real growth. real transformations.
Self-growth is very much an inward journey, but Sara is kind of like that helping hand that says, ‘okay, you're not doing this alone though. You don't have to do it alone.’
Katelyn w.
Working with Sara actually helped me get to see who I wanted to be. And what the goal was overall. You know, and so what I started with and what I ended with were very, very different.
Dr. David LoCONTO
I’ve been coaching with Sara for the past little while now and it is not an exaggeration when I say she has changed my life. The person I was before this was very high strung and anxious and judgmental and the person I am now would not recognize that person.

From Inspiration to Integration

Transformation doesn’t happen all at once. It happens in small, consistent moments of presence, awareness, and choice. That’s what the Gratitude & Growth Studio was created for.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a steady space to come home to, the
G&G Studio brings together everything you need—mindset work, movement, breathwork, meditation, and a community that grows with you.

This isn’t just another platform. It’s a practice. A path. A way back to yourself.

What Members Are Saying About the G&G Studio

#helped me slow down | #gave me the space to grow | #is everything I need in one place | #helped me handle stress better | #makes personal growth feel doable |

I tend to soak up all the latest knowledge—the next hot tip, the new thing to try. But that can become overwhelming, and I lose sight of the fundamentals. What I love about G&G Studio is that it brings everything together in one self-contained space—mind, body, and spirit all in alignment.

It’s helped me slow down, reconnect with what really matters, and take consistent action instead of just collecting more information. There’s structure here—something to anchor into—so I’m not just thinking about the 50 new habits I could start. I’m actually doing the work.

If you’re feeling a little aimless or lost, or just looking for a more grounded and balanced way of living, this platform can be truly life-changing. Don’t underestimate the simplicity of these practices—because the basics are what build a nourishing, beautiful life.

I think the biggest selling feature of this whole thing is that it really truly is everything you need in your self-love and self-healing journey. You have your mindset work and your movement and your meditation and your breathwork sessions all in one place. It really is a no-brainer because you have the space to do it on your own, but you also have the community.

You have the ability to have journal prompts that can really push you past that familiar place that you usually end up. And I think it’s just really exciting to have something and have a space where you can explore this new version of yourself.

I am so, so thankful for the way that the G&G Studio has helped reframe so much of my thinking. Using these mindset workbooks, being able to access these meditations whenever I want—the breathwork or yoga too, has made such a difference.

I didn’t even know that I needed to be supported in this way, and I’m just so thankful that my overthinking, over-feeling -- ANY turbulence that I’ve been typically met with has really lessened.

And I can’t say enough to Sara for creating this wonderful platform that has been so thorough and so detailed and really leaves no stone left unturned.
